The Department is Headed by TPL. Junaid Abdullahi Some of the Functions of the Department includes;

• Capacity building of procurement personnel and development of system and standards in the public sector
• Ensuring adherence to work ethics and SERVICOM compliance.
• Facilitating for professional bodies Annual general meetings, assemblies, seminars and conferences.
